Devoted to Christ

The temptations in your life are no different from what other’s experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

1 Corinthians 10:13 NLT

Even so we can rejoice when temptation arrives, because when you overcome temptations from desire, you are glorying God and become more like Jesus Christ. Jesus was tempted by the devil and he overcame it by even preaching to Satan, “You shall not test the Lord thy God.” We do not sin by encountering temptation, but we sin by giving in. Have you sinned towards God? If you are a child of God, Confess for He is faithful and just to forgive us. Get up and get working with God once again. Our father in heaven is a father who takes care of us.
