In the Media Room
by Michael Serna on Sep.03, 2010, under Random
Last night, I unexpectedly wound up in the media room during a Harvest Christian Fellowship service. All what I intended to say to the media people out there was that a good job they’ve been doing, and immediately I was asked if I could stay in the media room. The media room is where all the video is captured and projected towards the screen, the lyrics posted during praise and worship, and where scripture is posted on the screen while Pastor Greg is delivering his message. It was a bit of my surprise that the media room was filled with women! Wow! They are about roughly the same age as I am and I gotta say, it was an awesome experience getting to know that and what led them to doing the multimedia works of the church! Awesome!
My Overall Thoughts of the Harvest Crusade
by Michael Serna on Aug.11, 2010, under Random
For me, the weekend renewed my spirit. Even if my flesh became weak as the weekend went on, I would not give in to whatever was hindering me to serve. Music by the David Crowder Band, How He Loves kicked off the weekend just right for me. And to end it with the Katinas performing the same song ended it just right.
I have about 200 friends on Facebook. I wonder what percentage of them read my invitation. The times are tough when the world is so busy. It has come to my conclusion that it really is difficult to have someone give their life to the Lord. Nonetheless even bring them to an invitation. It brought me down a little … Not to mention a more formal invitation I would give over the phone or in person. I need to move on and continue serving the Lord with gladness and joy hoping that one day my purpose for the Lord will be fulfilled. I will reach out again with the Lord’s strength.
Those are my thoughts.
Camping Trip a Success!
by Michael Serna on Aug.01, 2010, under Random
l had a fun and safe camping trip! A success and victory upon giving our Lord and Savior glory and honor. Thank you Lord!
It was a time of remembering how to be engaged into the church of the living God. Testimonies were shared and people were touched upon how the spirit moved unto people’s lives. It was the first time where people have arrived early (Thursday afternoon) and appreciated what God had in stored throughout the 4 days. 5 preachers stood up and proclaimed the gospel throughout the entire weekend. People hiked across steep slopes and everyone who were involved in this year’s Jeopardy game had a very competitive time.
Photos and videos coming throughout the week! Stay tuned!

Today I inch closer and closer in getting my local church website finished. I have also invested a device into what hopefully will capture the sights and sounds of many preaching in high definition! I hope and pray for the best outcome possible!
I came home to witness a conference online being held in Philadelphia and boy it previewed of what’s going on today and what will come in the near future! The conference extends until tomorrow, and you can bet that I’ll be up bright and early for that one at 5:30 am! It’s on a www.epicenterconference.com

by Michael Serna on Jun.08, 2010, under Random
I read this quote today from this month’s Christianity Today:
“The value of being present with another person happens over coffee or dinner and through conversations with other people we meet unexpectedly. We haven’t found a way to make that happen in the virtual world.
- Acts 1:8 -
Amazing how today I met someone unexpectedly in which I shared my faith with her at a Starbucks. Thank you Lord for using me! This literally happened today!
Transfering Update
by Michael Serna on Jun.02, 2010, under Random
I made a post a few weeks ago about getting out of WordPress because of the unstable functionality of not enabling me to create posts. WordPress press is working now so all the “unstableness” is gone, so now I can post and blog anytime without any hassle of having to dubug or even transfer from this one!
Iran: 6 years to build a Bomb
by Michael Serna on Apr.14, 2010, under Devotion, Random

This is a disturbing and interesting article indeed of Persia (Iran) creating a way of destruction and attack.
The US military has warned that Iran could produce enough highly-enriched uranium for a nuclear bomb in one year.
But it would take another three to five years to actually produce a “deliverable weapon that is usable,” a senior general told Congress.
As we know in Ezekiel 38:
A Message for Gog
1 This is another message that came to me from the Lord: 2 “Son of man, turn and face Gog of the land of Magog, the prince who rules over the nations of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him. 3 Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord: Gog, I am your enemy! 4 I will turn you around and put hooks in your jaws to lead you out with your whole army—your horses and charioteers in full armor and a great horde armed with shields and swords. 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Liby will join you, too, with all their weapons. 6 Gomer and all its armies will also join you, along with the armies of Beth-togarmah from the distant north, and many others.
The Best is Yet to Come
by Michael Serna on Feb.23, 2010, under Books, Random
The next book on my list if an older book from Pastor Greg Laurie entitled, The Best is Yet to Come on what to do when we’re stuck with problems or circumstances that are difficult to face in life. But don’t fret, after all, no matter what issues go through in life, the best is yet to come!
I’ve also been working on some technical issues with my church site, www.fil-amworshipcenter.org. I just found out that the links that link to other pages on our site don’t show our content! Bummer! Boo and fail for MS internet explorer. It’s a fix that I gotta deal with this week before our anniversary comes up on Sunday. That’s the update with me. Hope all is well with you!
